Birding for Beginners

Thursday, May 25 – Birding 101 at LRCA Administrative Office; 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Are you curious about birds?  Interested in learning their names and calls?  If you are, you just might be a birder!  This event is for anyone (kids and families welcome) wanting to learn more about the amazing world of birding.  In our Multi-Purpose Room at the LRCA Administrative Office, you’ll learn how to identify birds by sight and sound, have the chance to ask all your questions about birds and birding, with and without the help of technology.  Then, we will practice our birding skills along the nearby paved recreational trail. We will have binoculars and field guides at the event for you to try out, or feel free to bring your own!

* Come to this event on the bus!  Bus stops are a 5 minute walk away.

* Our office is wheelchair accessible!

NOTE: Event dates, times and topics are subject to change and/or cancellation.

A NON-REFUNDABLE $5.00 registration fee is required for each participant to secure your spot.
